Welcome to Emma’s Appetite,
I started this blog because I love cooking, writing and sharing my creative ideas. So I thought to myself, why not kill three birds with one stone and start a cooking blog where I get to do the three things I love.
To be honest, I’m not one of those people who fell in love with cooking at a young age (that would be my brother), I only really started cooking when I had to fend for myself in college. I found that more I cooked the more relaxed and creative I became. I could play around with classic recipes and (literally) spice them up if I wanted to. After graduation I moved to Vancouver and started to pay more attention to what I was making and what I was putting in my body. I’m not a vegan, vegetarian or anything like that but I do try to eat healthy when I can.
I believe that cooking is about trying new things, being creative in the kitchen and creating something delicious. I encourage everyone to try cooking something new at least once a week and if you have tried to make something I cooked but maybe did it a little differently than me, let me know! There are no secret recipes here, only shared appetites.
